Google Tasks
Task & Project Management
Google Tasks keeps the list. Fokus finds the time.
Sync your Google Tasks lists into Fokus, plan them onto your calendar, and check things off on either side — both stay true.
Integrations
What Fokus adds
Not a mirror of the other tool — capabilities that only exist once the two are connected.
Your lists, with a schedule
Tasks from your enabled Google Tasks lists flow into Fokus, where they can be prioritized, time-blocked and actually finished — not just listed.
Complete anywhere, it counts everywhere
Check a task off in Google Tasks or in Fokus — the other side updates, so no list quietly drifts out of date.
Choose which lists take part
Auto-import is per-list: your work list syncs, the grocery list stays home. Flip a toggle to change your mind.
How the sync works
Under the hood
Fokus syncs enabled lists with the Google Tasks API — new and updated tasks flow in, changes and completions flow back.
-
A task is added to an enabled list
It appears in Fokus, ready to schedule
-
You complete the task in Fokus
It’s checked off in Google Tasks
-
You edit the task on either side
The other side reflects the change
Settings, explained
The controls you actually get after connecting — exactly as they appear in Settings → Integrations.
Auto-Import Settings
Auto-import is controlled per task list:
-
Toggle individual lists to enable auto-import
- My Tasks
- Work
- Errands
Only enabled lists import their tasks into Fokus — everything else stays where it is.
Panel shown as it appears in the Fokus app. Every control is optional — defaults work out of the box.
