Jira
Task & Project Management
Sprint board in Jira. Focus time in Fokus.
Import issues from your Jira Cloud projects with priorities mapped, schedule the work on your calendar, and let “Done” in either tool mean done in both.
Integrations
What Fokus adds
Not a mirror of the other tool — capabilities that only exist once the two are connected.
Issues become planned work
Issues from enabled projects land in Fokus with priorities mapped to yours — the sprint commitment turns into actual hours on your calendar.
Done syncs both ways
Transition an issue to Done in Jira and the Fokus task can complete itself; finish in Fokus and your rule runs in Jira. One state, two tools.
Find anything, JQL included
Search your issues from inside Fokus with plain text — or paste raw JQL when you need surgical precision.
Per-project auto-import
Sync the project you’re sprinting on; leave the backlog graveyard projects alone.
How the sync works
Under the hood
Jira Cloud webhooks push issue changes to Fokus in real time — with tokens refreshed automatically — and your per-action rules decide the response on each side.
-
An issue is added to an enabled project
It appears in Fokus with mapped priority
-
A Jira issue transitions to Done
Your rule runs in Fokus — complete the task
-
You complete the task in Fokus
Your rule runs in Jira — close the issue, or do nothing
Settings, explained
The controls you actually get after connecting — exactly as they appear in Settings → Integrations.
Sync Settings
Auto-Import picks the projects; Sync Settings defines what completed / updated / deleted do in each direction:
-
Auto-Import Settings · toggle individual projects
- PLAT — Platform
- APP — Mobile app
Only enabled projects import their issues into Fokus.
-
Jira → Fokus · On issue completed
Runs when a Jira issue transitions to Done. Options: Close issue, Sync changes, Delete task, Complete task, Do nothing.
-
Fokus → Jira · On task completed
Some teams want the Jira workflow to stay manual — completing in Fokus doesn’t have to transition the issue.
-
Jira → Fokus · On issue updated
Priority and field changes in Jira flow into the Fokus task.
Panel shown as it appears in the Fokus app. Every control is optional — defaults work out of the box.
