Google Calendar
Calendars & Scheduling
Your calendar, finally in the same room as your tasks.
Fokus syncs the Google calendars you choose in real time. Meetings land next to your tasks, time blocks you plan flow back to Google, and the whole day lives in one view.
Integrations
What Fokus adds
Not a mirror of the other tool — capabilities that only exist once the two are connected.
Events and tasks on one timeline
Google events render right beside your tasks and time blocks, so the plan you make is based on the day you actually have — conflicts are visible before they happen.
Create and edit from either side
Drag a task into a gap in Fokus and an event appears in Google Calendar. Move a meeting in Google and your Fokus day updates. Neither side is a read-only mirror.
Updates arrive in seconds, not on refresh
Google pushes changes to Fokus the moment they happen. A meeting moved from someone else’s phone reshuffles your afternoon before you’ve noticed.
Auto-scheduling respects your meetings
When Fokus plans your tasks, every synced Google event counts as busy time — the scheduler fills the gaps, never double-books them.
How the sync works
Under the hood
Google push notification channels plus incremental sync tokens — Fokus is told the instant an event changes and fetches only what moved.
-
A meeting is moved in Google Calendar
Your Fokus timeline reshuffles around it
-
You drag a task into a gap in Fokus
A calendar event appears in Google
-
You edit an event in Fokus
The change is written back to Google
Settings, explained
The controls you actually get after connecting — exactly as they appear in Settings → Integrations.
Manage Calendars
Right after connecting, Fokus asks which calendars to sync — select all, or cherry-pick. You can change the selection any time from this panel.
-
Toggle calendars to enable or disable event syncing
- Personal (Primary)
- Work
- Team standups
- Birthdays
Every calendar in your Google account gets its own switch. Work calendar in, birthday calendar out — only what you enable flows into Fokus.

Stop planning around a calendar you can’t see
Connect Google Calendar and build your day where the meetings already are — free to start, disconnect any time.
